Norway House, in St Ives’ old fishing quarter of Downlong, is about as near to the heart of this enchanting town as you could hope to be. The 200 year old house faces onto Norway Square where parking is usually available. Harbour, beaches, restaurants, bars, galleries, studios, shops… indeed everything for your wonderful holiday and relaxing break is close by, even the St Ives School of Painting.

There are three bedrooms, two with en suite shower room ands one with a private bathroom. All are centrally heated and have colour TV, radio and hot drinks making facilities with hot chocolate and biscuits provided. Also provided are hair dryer, general toiletries, paperback books, magazines and, of course, your own front door and room keys to come and go as you please.

Your breakfast will be served between 8:30 and 9:30. A ‘full English’ is always on offer and Dee will be happy to cook a vegetarian breakfast or cater for any dietary needs. Taken in the beautiful ground floor dining room, a great breakfast is the perfect start to your wonderful holiday day or relaxing break. Dee and Harding, whose family have lived in St Ives for generations, will willingly provide information on local events, history and the surrounding area.

Famous for its art (including the Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Museum), amazing light and wonderful beaches, St Ives still retains its character as a working fishing port. And these days, that tradition is matched by the quality of places to eat, drink, shop or just browse in St Ives. And all around the town is the wonderful landscape and world class attractions that have made Cornwall the UK’s premier destination for holidays and breaks.
